Celebrating Easter

We celebrated Easter a little early around here. Today I’m heading into work, so we had everyone over for an egg hunt and dinner last night. Lots of food, friends, and the most perfect gorgeous day outside – by far the nicest day of the year. It was wonderful.

I fixed the usual, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs, and then several snack platters for everyone to nibble on. For dessert, we had an apple pie, cupcakes, and an assortment of Ben and Jerry’s and gelatos for everyone to choose from.

The kids even had a big surprise when their Papa and Nana drove up the last minute and stayed the night. They all got their cuddle times and stories. This will be an Easter they will remember for a long time.

I hope you all have a fantastic day and can spend it with loved ones!

I'm SO glad you had an awesome Easter! I love all the photos! I didn't see Wayne, but everyone looked like they had a good time. The photos of you and the kids were a treasure! They were some of the best! I was surprised to see Russ there...he is looking so much older! I'm glad he could come though. I know you had to work, but I still hope today will be special for you as well. All my love, Mom
