Making Memories with the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

A few weeks ago I drove a 2017 Hyundai on a road trip to Southern Oregon. It was perhaps the nicest solo drive I’ve had to visit family.

I’m originally from Southern Oregon, and don’t drive down there very frequently – perhaps only 2-3 times a year.

I received the Hyundai to drive for the week and decided to spontaneously drive to Grants Pass. This car was one that I wanted to really test drive so I drove 240 miles one way to really check it out. 😉

The 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T ULT AWD was named Cars.com’s “Family Car of the Year”. It’s a fun mid-size SUV that works well for just commuting or for the family. The model I drove had lots of little luxuries like:

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Features:

  • a hands-free smart liftgate with auto open,
  • lane departure warning,
  • an electronic parking brake with automatic hold,
  • auto leveling headlights,
  • heated and ventilated seats,
  • a heated steering wheel,
  • 19 inch alloy wheels ,
  • roof side rails,
  • heated dual power side mirrors with turn signal indicators,
  • an 8 inch touch screen monitor,
  • and so much more.

The Hyundai Santa Fe averages a combined 21 MPG. The MSRP starts at $30,800 and the car I drove was valued at $40,820.00

I spent the night staying up until the wee hours of the morning chatting with my Mom, who was ecstatic for the surprise visit. I stayed at her home until the next afternoon when I had to make my way back home.

Life sometimes gives you unexpected opportunities to make memories that you just need to jump on.

The Hyundai Santa Fe may just be my favorite test-drive vehicle to date. Have you drove one before?
