We’ve actually been doing pretty good in the breakfast department so far this school year. Sometimes in year’s past I had a real difficult time juggling between getting the kids off and running to school on time and making sure that they had a good breakfast prior to leaving. One thing that I have learned on rushed mornings is that everyone can get ready in a more timely fashion and enjoy breakfast if they have the tools and convenient foods to easily make good choices. If things are readily available for them then they can be in charge their breakfast when they are ready, and I think for a lot of people a breakfast basket is a good idea.
Creating a breakfast basket is very simple and doesn’t take much effort on your part, and in return is gives kids more independence, teaches them how to build a better breakfast, and will take a little extra AM stress away from you. 🙂
