Looking for some fruit flavored classy cocktails to make this weekend? Scroll below for some of my favorite easy to make drinks!
Hello! Today I thought since summer is drawing to a close, I would share a few of my fruity classy cocktails with you, as we all celebrate the end of sunshiny days and bring in the fall soon. I love the summertime, but I will also be looking forward to pumpkin patches, peppermint cocoa, fall soccer, and pumpkin spice lattes. But before that happens, try one of these cold refreshing recipes and tell me what you think!
Four Classy Cocktails:
Classic Cosmopolitan
One cocktail everyone needs to know how to create is the cosmopolitan. It’s very easy to make, and with vodka, triple sec, lime juice and cranberry juice, it’s safe to say that most people won’t complain if you serve it to them.
The Perfect Kamikaze
Have you heard of a Kamikaze before? I can honestly say I hadn’t, not until I purchased a cocktail book at a second-hand store the other day. It is a classic cocktail that I just had to try. It has a really refreshing taste that I imagine will be perfect on a summer evening.
Raspberry Hazelnut Cocktail
Do you like hazelnut liquor? I can’t quite recall where I first tasted it, but I’ve enjoyed it ever since. It’s fairly sweet, so a little goes a long way. It’s a great liquor to mix up in delicious cocktails. There are many brands out there, but I generally stick to one that I know I like: Frangelico.
Since I like to keep frozen handpicked local Oregon raspberries in the freezer I thought, “What if I combined the raspberry and hazelnut flavors together and made a cocktail?” So, I did just that.
Mango Blueberry Smoothie Cocktail
Looking for a cocktail that has plenty of fresh fruit flavors? Try this: a mango blueberry ‘smoothie’ cocktail.
